Michael Jackson's Kids Get Schooled
Two of Michael Jackson's kids have taken a big step -- leaving homeschool for one of the most exclusive private schools in the country.
TMZ has learned 13-year-old Prince and 12-year-old Paris started at The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday.
Family sources tell TMZ ... Prince wanted to go to Buckley to have "a social experience." Initially, Paris was reluctant but changed her mind in a big way.
As for 8-year-old Blanket -- he's still going to be homeschooled. Katherine Jackson feels he's too young to venture out.
Among the alums -- Matthew Perry, Alyssa Milano, Nicole Richie, Nicollette Sheridan and Laura Dern.

Good for them! I think they need the socialization outside the family cousins and what not. Hope it goes well for the babies.

Good for them ) I know they will do well and yes it's good they mingle with others aside from their family and many cousins. That is awesome!! I hope the other people treat them well so that they don't go back into their shell.
I think it's great that Prince and Paris have started school, and I started on the same day as them.
Awww, they grow up so fast. Guess it had to happen sooner or later.
I'm also going to a private school there! I think I should go

Hi Guys, this is yet another best on the kids. I just hope those bad people wont take advantage of the situation and start doing their usual silly things. Thats great and am sure they will make the best students as they seem well behaved children. I just hope Blanket wont be missing his siblings. Will they be in boarding?

Good for them. Life is about living and I am glad Ms. Katherine is allowing them to live. No , it wont be easy but no one ever said life was easy. They will be among peers , some with respect and kindness and others with an agenda, but life is about good and evil and believe me when I say good always prevail. Best Blessings two both of them.

I am very happy for themI know they will be exceptional students,their manners are impeccable they had a wondeful teacher there DAD. Its a hard world to step into and this is there first time alone.Some childern will speak harsh words to them, its school,no matter if its private or not, thats the reality and they will not sugar code it. Tthese wonderful kids can take care of them seffs I love these children very mush. and blanket will be just fine.

Yes, I`ve read it..it`s good for children to realize what real Life stands for...if they meet real life in a private school. But they don`t have another chance cause people out there can be very crazy and bad. I lost a very good friend and I do now understand much better how they feel, even after a year. I hope they will make it in Life !!
How about you Jojo....schollstarting again next week ? Did you enjoy your holidays ?? Our trip to CA was wonderful and interesting. The weather was the hotest summer since a long time. In Las Vegas we had 51°C during the days...I am still in CA in my thoughts. I love you, Jojo. Take care.
